Joseph Campbell’s wrote this book where a main character embarks on a journey, has transformative experiences, challenges, insights, and then return home.
Since I was a child traveling was my passion. I was eleven years old and I flu for the first time. I remember vividly, that was the moment I made the promise to myself I would travel as much as I am able to.
The concept of traveling doesn’t belong only to our humanity. Animals embark in their own way looking for better condition and survival.
Traveling is one of the best exercises to get out of our “comfort zone”, specially when you don’t speak the language of your destiny. We need to create abilities to communicate with each other, finding kind people that provides direction and tips, adapt our bodies to the jet lag. Each day requires from us certain flexibility and tolerance.
Why we keep doing it? Our curiosity, inspiration, and novelty. These are the best motivational emotions. We push ourselves to take a plane, a cruise, a train, and the adventures travelers begin a crusade walking “El Camino de Santiago” .
My favorite feeling’s when I travel withing my country or abroad, are to come home and discovered how much I have learned about myself, and how many adventures I encountered .
Tell me about your journey. How old where you? Where did you go? Which are your best memories?
I am looking forward to read your experiences. You can write in your native language.
